Oregon, day 2… Rose Garden
[note: I typed this up on Friday and spent 5 hours trying to submit this - this house gets no cell phone reception. So I'm posting it late anyways, since it's caused me so much grief!]
Today was day 2 and it was a little less busy. I didn’t get to sleep in, unfortunately, and that was night 3 of very little sleep, followed by day 3 of not much rest. Makes for a cranky Ari.
Anyway, we started the day looking for some shoes for one of my cousins… He didn’t find any but I did… I have no self-control! After that, my parents got in, as did some friends of my cousins, and we all had lunch. In the afternoon, some of my cousins and I went to the Rose Garden, home to soo many roses that I thought I died and went to heaven. It smelled so lovely, I took quite a few pictures. We drove around downtown Portland a bit and then had a drink before heading back. In the evening we have a big dinner which should be interesting…
Still computer-less and my cell phone gets bad reception so I feel completely cut off from the world (not to mention twitter is down half the time) but I did take some pics on my cell today… However I can’t seem to post this with pics, grr!
