5 years ago I graduated college.  Actually more like 5 and a half years ago.  It was obviously a big deal, I did the whole cap and gown bit… woohoo me.  Well today, my mother and I finally went shopping for my graduation present.  Long story why but suffice it to say, I walked away with 3 of these boxes:

Now how can that be bad?  :)

So what did I get?  Well, take a look:

A charm bracelet, with the first charm being an apple! :)  Oh and don’t you LOVE how you can see my hand and camera in the picture… no way around it, tragically.  Anyway, I had been wanting a charm bracelet and my mom wanted me to get one too because she figures it’s something that I’ll have for ages to come.  I figure it’ll take my ages to fill up the charm bracelet… gotta find me a man to help me out with that, lol!

Then I also got these earrings.  My mom isn’t a fan of them, she thinks they’ll go out of style and I guess she has a point… when I’m 40 years old I probably won’t be wearing them.  But I can pass them down to my daughter or something.  I’ll enjoy them while I can!

So… pretty exciting day.   Now… who wants to get me my next charm for my charm bracelet? :D
