Checking it off the list…
Yay Christmas Eve. But bigger news, yay that I finally finished a project. Here are the three last pictures for my 24 Days of Christmas project:
Was playing with twinkle lights again, but this time I really played with different camera settings to get the starbursts.
I like how clean and simple this image is. I found this ribbon at the store weeks ago and knew I would use it in the project. I wanted it for yesterday’s shot, and I knew that I wanted to take a picture of it against a clean background. I remembered late at night so at 11:00 last night I climbed into the bathtub to get a shot of the ribbon. Yes, the bathtub.
My last picture for the project. I had planned on revisiting the bow from day 2 (although this is a large bow) and I knew I wanted presents in the picture. I took a LOT of different shots until this one came about.
Oh and here’s an outtake from today:
I really like the way the tree looks in the picture, and the bokeh of course… but I didn’t like the tape on the package, or the empty space under the tree. Ah well.
So that’s that. If you’d like to see the entire album, it’s up on flickr. I think this project taught me a lot in such a short while and I feel pretty good about taking pictures now… and pretty good about project 365 in 2010! :) Speaking of, thanks to those of you that are encouraging me to go for it – I think I AM going to try it again. I hope you guys will continue to give support throughout next year, heaven knows I’m going to need it!
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. I’ll still be blogging, thanks to NaBloPoMo, but I understand that other people have actual LIVES and will be spending the day with family and friends, rather than visiting blogs… so if you don’t stop by here, I’d like to wish you an early Merry Christmas (if you celebrate)!
