Grrr…

Stupid NaBloPoMo.  I mean, it’s been very good about getting me back in the habit of blogging regularly, and I appreciate that.  But days like today, when I remember to blog when I’m about to run out the door for the night, sucks.  Especially because what’s there to say?  And, on the day after Christmas (when most people are hanging out with their families/not hanging out on the internet), who really cares about what little I have to say?

Anyway, my day after Christmas was spent very nicely.  I got to sleep in and just relax with the family.  We sent up the new wii that my mom got (she had wanted wii fit) and we got to try it out – I had never played with the wii so it was a brand new experience for me.  And now that it’s here, I’m tempted to go out and get a video game or two to play… why not, right?

Oh and for the record, I tested out the wii fit and it told me I had a normal BMI and that my wii fit age was 26 (aka one year younger than my actual age).  Not too shabby at all.  See, who needs a gym membership?

Okay, so that’s about it for me.  Blah.  I’m actually going out for a change tonight… amazing, eh?  :o)

  • I completely understand what you mean with the NaBloPoMo deal, but you already know that. How many of my blogging everyday posts were something along the lines of, "I like blogging. It's pretty"? :P

I would always remember to post at like midnight, as I was crawling into bed. Not fun. It did get me back into the habit of posting regularly, though.

Ooh. The Wii and I have a volatile relationship. There is always wailing and gnashing of teeth involved, but in a fun sort of way. Go getcha a game!
  • the Wii is fun! We got it last year for Christmas...love wii fit, mario kart and EA Active. We have ours hooked up to wifi too so we downloaded the old games like Super Mario Bros!
  • I admit I enjoy reading everyone's blog who is trying to make it all month, but I have failed.

I kinda miss my Wii Fit now... but when I got it they didn't have all the cool updated games and tools. It was just the basic package and at the time it was just difficult to play because of a little tiny person learning to walk. Yoga is difficult when kids think you are their personal croquet game and crawl under you when you are in various positions!!!!!

Enjoy. And get Mario Kart. That's super fun!!!
  • Have a wonderful time tonight!
  • Totally understand what you mean about NaBloPoMo, I almost didn't get my post done today. Congratulations on the results of your wii fit!

Blogging every day is crap. I want to quit haha
  • Yeah I don't have a gym membership either. The Ghostbusters game for Wii looks good :P

That sounds a little better than digging holes under the summer sun. Glad I took breaks! :)
Good to hear that you've been enjoying your time inside and outside.
    Have fun tonight! :)
