three sixty five. pink overload… and disappointment.
Week six of project three sixty five. I have to say, I’m disappointed with this week the most so far of this project. I didn’t feel on my game this week, and quite frankly, I blame Danbo for a lot of that. Danbo is pretty darn cute so I can see why she gets a lot of attention on flickr, but that means my personal project 365 is starting to feel unloved and as a result, I start to feel disappointed and basically just dejected. Bah. I’m putting Danbo in timeout.
Anyway, you’ll notice a lot of pink… I started with the pink theme on the first of the month and I’ve been enjoying it, for the most part. I’m pretty sure I scared away any guys that watch my flickr stream though – oops!
day thirty six – i <3 you. Started the week of with a whimper. These are some little stampers that I got, the lighting isn’t great and I think that’s one of the reasons why I don’t like this shot. One of the many reasons. Bah.
day thirty seven - can’t hold it all in… Now this shot I DO like. I was trying for a different shot and it wasn’t working so I just turned the vase over. And this was the result. I love the pink.
day thirty eight - how sweet it is. I have such a hard time posing with lollipops, the picture always looks more awesome in my head. I do dig the colors here tho. And my hair looks purty.
day thirty nine - happy bench monday, books i love edition. Hee hee, I had this in my head the night before and just HAD to do it. These are only a few of my favorite books (any higher and I would have fallen over) and yes, I recommend them all. The funny thing about this picture – bad lighting meant that in order to avoid shadows, I was juggling a lamp and my remote in my arms for this shot. :)
day forty - these are a few of my favorite things: flowers. Especially pink gerbera daisies. I LOVE this shot, especially compared to my picture of a pink gerbera daisy last year, but it didn’t get much appreciation on flickr and so I started to feel kinda down.
day forty one - sweet. Now this shot I don’t like. I had another picture in my head, I took a million shots and then when I realized that it didn’t work out, the sun had gone down. Bad lighting meant I really struggled and this was another “it looked so much better in my head” ideas.
day forty two – smile. Worked really hard on this, it took me ages to pick out the right conversation hearts, figure out the placement of the hearts, etc. I did a HUGE crop since I don’t have a macro lens (my birthday IS coming up, hint hint) and I think it turned out pretty nice.
And that’s it. I’m not sure how much longer I’m gonna keep up the pink theme. I might abandon it after Valentine’s, although I’m tempted to see if I can keep it going through the rest of the month. I guess we’ll have to see!
