three sixty five. branching out.
So I kind of tried to branch out a little bit, when it came to subject matter for my pictures. It’s starting to get harder to come up with ideas for pictures, but I’m chugging along.
day ninety two – she cries stars. I had no idea what to take a picture of, and I was looking around for ideas. I had bought this glitter a few months ago, and decided to play with it.
day ninety three – caught. I was so excited to see bluebonnets, and I must have taken a million pictures of them. There were a lot of bees around, and at first I was nervous about them but eventually I realized they weren’t paying attention to me, so I started trying to get a shot of one.
day ninety four – starry eyed surprise. Another bluebonnet. This was a shot I had tried to get Saturday but all my attempts were blurry. When I went back to the park on Sunday, I looked for bluebonnets to try to get my shot again. And I did, even with the wind!
day ninety five – life is a gift. Another “no idea what to shoot” day. For some reason I’ve been really into the color yellow and I remembered this old present that was sitting in my drawer. (From my co-workers when I left San Antonio, it has Lush goodies inside.)
day ninety six – i don’t belong… On my drive home from work, this little patch of nature caught my eye. All around this are busy streets and buildings, and when my family moved into this area about 15 years ago, it was all undeveloped and it’s rather depressing to watch all the green and trees disappear. I hope this little area doesn’t turn into a parking lot but I feel like it will.
day ninety seven – bring happiness. I love words, always have and can remember my favorites throughout the year. “dreamer” was my favorite word when I was in high school, “happiness” was my favorite word in college. I decided to take a picture of just the word happiness, but it wasn’t working out.. but I do like “bring happiness” as a quote. Oh and my favorite word these days? Either hope or wish. Something optimistic and hopeful. :)
day ninety eight – scent of a woman. I’m very big on scents, especially having a personal scent, but it’s been a long time since I’ve had one – my last perfume reminded me of my ex, and I’m very picky about what I wear. But I received a sample of this a few weeks ago when I got my new perfume and fell in love – and bought a full-sized bottle yesterday. Yay. :)
And thus concludes week 14. I don’t think this week was my best and I was starting to feel frustrated with the project, but I’m nearly at 100 so I can’t give up now!
