three sixty five. I am like Tinkerbell.
I’m feeling kinda eh about project 365 still and I think it’s because I’m not spending as much time on flickr, or even the internet in general. As a result, my pics (both on flickr and on my blog) aren’t getting as much love and normally I wouldn’t care but then, while watching this week’s Glee episode this line from Rachel popped out at me: “I am like Tinkerbell, Finn… I need applause to live!” I don’t know that I necessarily need applause, but I guess I miss making flickr explore, and having tons of comments and faves. Since I haven’t had that, I haven’t been motivated, so I haven’t taken good pics, so I haven’t gotten much love… viscious cycle.
I need to snap out of it.

one twenty seven | fence friday, you want bokeh?? edition. This fence was taller than I expected so I had to switch it to live view, hold the camera over my head and straighten it in lightroom.
one twenty eight | new shoes are *so* cliche. Such a sell out of a shot, but my friend started a Cliche Saturday shot so I had to come up with a cliche shot. Taking a picture looking down at your shoes seemed perfect, especially since I just bought these shoes that day and were in love with them. one twenty nine | whisk me away… This is a little whisk my mom got as a thank you favor to an event she hosted a while back. Sounds odd and it kind of is, but it was cute too. And made for a good macro shot.
one thirty | teach. A little dish that my friend gave me for my birthday… she had told me to take a picture of it the other day and I finally got around to it. I like how the word “teach” is the focus.
one thirty one | Starbucks frapp-keh. While driving to work with my Starbucks Caramel Frappucino, this idea for a shot popped into my head. I kinda dig how it came out.
one thirty two | “color my world with the chaos of trouble.” Was taking pictures of some gardenias in my mother’s garden and I was having a hard time processing the white flower without making it look blown out. I ended up playing with different settings in Lightroom and then this appeared. I love the colors, even if the processing is a bit unusual for me.
one thirty three | who needs a diet with cheesecake like this?! Went to La Madeleine with a friend after work for a bite and couldn’t resist taking a picture of it. Stay tuned for a future blog post with a few other pics I took the same day. :)
I’m ready to be in Europe. Surely I can come up with better pics there. :) 2 more weeks of shooting here and then I’ll hopefully have plenty of photo opportunities in England & Italy!!
